I installed lights which fade naturally out as time goes by. I paint irregular clay pieces made in a momentarily deformed frame by relaying on four lights. When all the lights are out, I stop painting. In describing and expressing an event and an object, I tried to show a situation under an external influence or restricted. During the display, I intentionally interrupted viewers recognizing and understanding works of art by flickering lights as time goes by.
Cleaning and Leaving

<Cleaning and Leaving> is a work that I put my emotions that I have to leave after a private exhibition, which I felt while being in a residency space of the alternative space art forum RHEE for 10 months. The works and trashes that I created in a workroom are my burden to deal with when time comes. These become to be one big mass, which prevents to get it out of the studio. However, in order to meet the deadline, a private exhibition, I have to bring it to an exhibition space by transforming it. The transformation reflects the attitude that I’ve been dealing with my works until now.
Print project: instant image
· I do works of carving within an appointed time.
· I print out one linoleum block 7 steps using the reduction plate method.
· I don’t put an edition number on prints
· If a viewer wants, he or she can take one of prints which are in drying.
This is a project that I print out with a reduction print method of prints from 1 step to 7steps and hang them on the installed net for drying at the exhibition space, then viewers can see different images depending on when to visit. The final image of the carvingis cumulus and I have made viewers to analogize dog, person, terrain, map, urethane foam and etc. from irregular surfaces shown to viewers during the course to 7steps. I tried to define a relationship between the artist who prints out with a linoleum block real time and the viewers who look at the image of the moment.
