When I think about the social structures and relationships I have experienced, a formative narrative comes to mind. I think of the series of processes in which the form changes due to some transformation as a narrative. There is nothing that feels more formative than something I have personally experienced. Direct experience is usually something that works internally, but it is expressed through physical substances. A body, a mass or surface with the characteristics of skin, or a plant with breath. For example, if you look at recent works that scratch a finely polished surface or place a surface on a sharp point to stretch it, this is the case. A flat and finely trimmed surface is a fantasy and an ideal world for me. But I know that this is not the case in reality, so I destroy the image myself. Trying to see reality as it is and destroying the image is for active growth and recovery.
